Thermoplastic rooflights can be supplied in an almost infinite range of designs and configurations. Most modern thermoplastic rooflights are manufactured using polycarbonate glazing. Polycarbonate is a durable material with extremely high impact resistance, which is available as solid sheets or structured multi-wall sheets designed to provide increased thermal insulation.
Polycarbonate sheet can be installed flat or curved, allowing curved glazing. Solid polycarbonate can also be thermoformed to provide more complex shapes – for example, pyramid and dome shaped modular rooflights.
Shown here is a small selection of typical glass rooflight designs.
